Vale Professor Pieter Roelof Zwart 1941-2010

One of the fathers of the Australian Spatial Industry, Professor Pieter Roelof Zwart (University of Tasmania), lost his battle with cancer on 3rd April 2010. He was 68 years of age.

A burial service was held in Hobart on Friday 9th April 2010 at 3pm and was very well attended. Here is the order of service which shows Pieter’s love of Sir John Barbirolli’s production (EMI classics) of Elgar’s Cello Concerto (Jacqueline Du Pre) & Sea Pictures
